Product Description
Naoh caustic soda is colorless transparent crystal with a relative density of 2.130. Melting point 318.4℃. Boiling point 1390℃. There are two kinds of solid and liquid caustic soda on the market: pure solid caustic soda is white, there are block, flake, rod, granular, crisp quality; Pure liquid caustic soda is a colorless transparent liquid. Solid caustic soda has strong hygroscopicity. Easy to dissolve in water, dissolve heat, water solution is alkaline, there is a sense of slippiness; Soluble in ethanol and glycerol; Insoluble in acetone and ether. Highly corrosive, corrosive to fiber, skin, glass, ceramics and so on. Hydrogen is produced by reaction with aluminum and zinc, boron and silicon.
