Product Description

1.Bayer Process: The Bayer process is the primary method used for extracting alumina from bauxite ore. Caustic soda is a crucial component in this process. 2.Digestion of Alumina: Caustic soda pearls are used in the digestion stage of alumina production. During this stage, the sodium aluminate solution obtained from the Bayer process is heated and pressurized with caustic soda to break down the remaining aluminum-containing minerals and convert them into soluble sodium aluminate.
3.Alumina Washing: After digestion, the resulting sodium aluminate solution needs to be washed to remove impurities. Caustic soda is used as a washing agent to separate the impurities from the alumina.
4.PH Adjustment: Caustic soda is also used for pH adjustment in various stages of the alumina production process. It is added to control the acidity or alkalinity of the solutions, ensuring optimal conditions for the desired chemical reactions.
