Modal is a type of rayon that is made from beech tree pulp and cotton fibers. The cotton fibers are added to the pulp to give the resulting fabric a softer, more cotton-like feel. The process of making modal involves several steps, including:
1.Purifying the pulp and cotton: The beech tree pulp and cotton fibers are purified to remove impurities.
2.Dissolving the fibers: The purified fibers are then treated with a solution of caustic soda flakes to dissolve the cellulose and cotton fibers.
